In D grade, BSCC's female rising star Iesha Humber put up an excellent fight to finish in 3rd place. It was anyone's race right up to the line in C grade which eventually saw BSCC's Pete Canny continuing his improvement with age winning by a bike length. Geelong and Colac stood no chance against the might of the Ballarat squad in B grade. Our ever-consistent Tony Mirabella broke away on the final lap to take the honours ahead of fellow BSCC riders; Rob Forsyth, Jim Crumpler, Jason Birch & Nick Brown. In A grade, Craig Lee & Dayne Pearce spent quite a bit of the morning up the road in breakaways which suited fellow teammates well. In the end however, it came down to a sprint which Tim Canny positioned himself well to roll around the opposition in the final meters to take the honours.
Well done to everyone who represented the club today - there was certainly lots to be proud of.
Click here for the results: https://results.sporthive.com/events/PC1390916

Brien too strong in Brookman

https://www.cyclingballarat.com.au/road-race-reports/brien-too-strong-in-brookman

https://www.cyclingballarat.com.au/road-race-reports/brien-too-strong-in-brookman#comments

Handicaps

Stu Brien continued his strong form by winning the Brookman Handicap on Saturday.
