MTB: Social Ride, February 2012

The February MTB social ride is something for the whole family, Mum, Dad and the kids. The pace will be sedate so this means all primary schoolers should be able to ride by themselves. If the kids are too young to ride themselves then hook up the pram/trailer to the parent's bike or put them in the bike baby seat and come long.

We will be riding from Magpie to Ballarat and then back to Magpie along the Yarrowee Trail, which follows the Yarrowee River (so there are no big hills). The distance is 8.5km one way (a little further than around the Lake). Once we arrive in Ballarat we will stop for a rest so either bring some money to buy a coffee/drink or a snack or pack a picnic. When we have had your fill we can ride back to the starting point or you could elect to be picked up, the choice is yours.

Meeting Time: 9:00am 
Stopping At: The grass area next to the Ballarat Police Station
Expected Duration: 2 to 3 hours 
What to bring: MTB, helmet, food, drink, clothes for weather, money for lunch and a drink etc
