It was a good turn up (I'd guess 20 seniors and 15 juniors), perfect conditions, and Rhys Gillett was too good for all except the Melbourne riders.  Jono Lovelock (VIS) took out A Grade, with Rhys the best of the Ballarat boys.  Harry Bade won B Grade, Gail was quickest of the women.

It was great to see a mix of men and women, young and old at the start and observe the disc wheels, aero helmets, TT bars and skin suits lining up next to drop bars and 36 spokers.  The one thing all had in common was a heap more toughness than those who today chose not to pull on the lycra!
